Over a three-month period, I collaborated with a small team of three, including a copywriter and a designer. The challenge was clear: CEA was brand new, with little public awareness. We needed a campaign that would grab attention, spark curiosity, and reflect the creative spirit of the programs offered.

Our concept blended the iconic landscapes of Alberta—mountains, lakes, hiking trails—with surreal and cinematic elements like spaceships and lake monsters. Inspired by outdoor travel ads, this unexpected juxtaposition made the campaign visually arresting while hinting at the storytelling power students could tap into through CEA programs.

Using Blender, I created fully realized 3D scenes that allowed for total creative freedom and precise control over composition and lighting—crucial for developing assets that could scale across paid digital, out-of-home, and commercial formats. The result was a campaign that didn’t just promote a program, but invited audiences into an imaginative new world.
